An idea...
HiI was wondering if you ladies would be open to putting a paper in each round robin before you ship it off stating what fibers you used? When I used to coordinate round robins years ago, we did this. It helps the next person to know what colors you used and to try to match up to them somewhat....
I don't know about you ladies, but I am not very good at doing that just by eyeing someting. But if you tell me the greens you used were DMC 367 and 368, that sure makes it easier...
Your thoughts?
Nice to meet you Novia!!! So sorry to hear about your grandmother :-(

Good idea, I don't mind doing that as I have a journal I'm keeping a record in any way of our RR, so I can also add paper when I send the RR off.
Yeah! I agree too!
Great to meet you too Carol!
Novia
I'll probably be sending the chart (if someone wants to stitch the gazebo and lighthouse-hint, hint) plus some extras in case you can't get a hold of Victorian house designs.
Oh. Oops. I just used what I liked out of my stash and didn't write anything down. I do, however, have a big "hank" of the green I used if anyone else wants some. It's a one-off Needle Necessities overdyed cotton.
It is an excellent idea. I'll try to write down what I can remember for sure.
Sure, Carol, I'll write down the colours I used, though I wouldn't mind if anyone just picked the colours they like themselves. There's no grass in my square of the RR, just a huge flower.
Yay - I am glad Dianne has some charts to send - I am scatching my head on what to use for her theme :-) I was noticing that many of us wanted to make sure that nobody zapped in a strange color that would throw the whole sampler off and figured the papers would help us to know what colors are being used from stitcher to stitcher so that we can adapt our patterns.
I might include some charts in my project too - you can use them, or not, but they would give you the best idea of what I am looking/hoping for - thanks, Dianne, for the idea! I haven't been able to clearly express what I want yet, so that would help!
I actually have written down most of the floss colors that I used. I always keep a notebook of what I am working on. I was planning on sending a small notebook along with my neighborhood so that everyone could write down any thoughts that they had while stitching. - I think we chatted about this once before-or? But, before Carol joined us. Anyway, I would love to know why people choose to stitch what they stich and where it came from etc... Or whatever thoughts or info they choose to share.
Ooh! I love the idea of a sort of journal to accompany our RR on its journey around the world! That is sooo cool. Count me in. And as for sending along some patterns: that's a great idea too.
